By providing healing for all and any ills, a Psalm is a universal reading that is independent of its belief to provide results. For example, innumerable blessings were attributed to each of the 150 Psalms responsible for composing such a biblical book. Next, we will look at the meaning and interpretation of Psalm 95.

A joyful and enthusiastic prayer

This inexplicable power happens every time an individual recites or sings a Psalm, then activating a powerful Greater Force to each recited word. This force would then be responsible for directing and moving the energies around us, so that we would take care of putting our life in the right path.

To obtain maximum results for each of the Psalms composed by the kings David and Solomon for the most part, it is recommended to recite or sing for periods of 3, 7, or 21 days, depending on the intensity of the goal you want to achieve.

Working as a kind of invitation to worship God, Psalm 95 is clearly a joyful and enthusiastic composition about the benevolent heart and power of the Creator. Features and situations are exalted where He is compared to the strength and protection of the cliffs, sheltering His children with His immeasurable love. In view of this, the expression of this devotion in the form of songs, Psalms and dances is advised to strengthen the body and the soul, increasing the joy of living.

However, segmented into two parts, the second block of Psalm 95 unexpectedly takes another turn, warning the impure and unbelieving about the consequences for those who disobey the words of God. For the psalmist we must always be willing to hear the divine voice; what needs to happen today, and not despite promising to do so tomorrow.

According to this Psalm, those who harden their hearts and refuse to obey the laws of God, even giving ear to their words, may result in non-salvation and, in their wrath, will be prevented from enjoying rest in the kingdom of heavens.

Basically, reading Psalm 95 can directly serve individuals who need humility to facilitate understanding of the word; those who need a stimulus to the positive expectations to realize desires.

Psalm 95

1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.

3 For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth,
and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5 The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.

6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
7 for he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,
the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice,
8 “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,
as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,
9 where your ancestors tested me;
they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10 For forty years I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,
and they have not known my ways.’
11 So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’”
