Retrograde planets 2020: dates and meaning
The retrograde planets 2020 will be eight: Mercury, Pluto, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus and Mars.
Recall that, astronomically, retrogradation is the “apparent” backward movement that a celestial body performs, when it seems to move in the opposite direction to the other stars in the system.
It is an optical phenomenon (illusion), generated by the viewer’s point of view (terrestrial perspective), and the different speeds at which the stars rotate on their own axis and around the Sun.
From the point of view of traditional astrology, periods marked by retrograde planets were interpreted as conflictive, or with a markedly negative influence on the nature of individuals.
Today, modern astrologers consider the retrogradation of celestial bodies as propitious periods to review projects (in detail), and to pay attention to the inner world.
